Behind the brand
History of Linjer
In 2014, Linjer revolutionized the accessories industry with its affordably-priced jewelry, bags, and watches crafted from sustainable and long-lasting materials. Founded by husband and wife, Roman Khan and Jennifer Chong, Linjer aimed to bridge the gap between expensive luxury and fast fashion. Linjer’s mission was simple: to create high-quality products accessible to a wider audience without compromising on style or sustainability. How did they do it?
By cutting out intermediaries and selling directly to customers online, Linjer was able to make quality products more attainable. And while the brand manufactures its jewelry, bags and watches in the same high-end factories as some of the world’s most renowned luxury brands, it was able to retail them at much lower prices.
From the get-go, sustainability was at the core of Linjer’s business. Its jewelry is made from recycled metals, ethically sourced gemstones, and lab-grown diamonds. Its watches feature scratch-resistant sapphire glass and premium Swiss movements. And for its bags, Linjer opted for premium Italian leather known for its durability and longevity.
Judging by the ever-growing demand for the brand’s minimalist-but-meticulous designs, the rest of the world appreciated the conscious brand as much as we do. And counting a plethora of high-profile names and influencers amongst its loyal fanbase, Linjer catapulted to cult-favorite status and has since become one of our favorite jewelry brands.
Interesting facts about Linjer
Derived from the Norwegian word for “lines”, the name “Linjer” embraces the clean, minimalist design that defines the brand. Beyond encapsulating the beauty of simplicity, Linjer also holds significance in its reflection of its founder’s Norwegian background, establishing a strong connection to the Scandinavian ethos that influences Linjer’s creations.
Linjer’s design inspiration often stems from the couple’s experiences of architecture in Europe. The Oslo Opera House, with its captivating Carrara marble roof and sleek lines, served as the muse for the brand’s “Classic” and “Minimalist” watches. Similarly, their time spent in Florence left a profound impact on the Linjer co-founders, inspiring the design of the Tulip Bag. Infused with a vibrant pop of color, this bag harmoniously combines natural vacchetta leather and a delicate linen lining, reflecting Florence’s vibrant appreciation for beauty that permeates the entire city.
Celebrities like Gigi Hadid, Hailey Bieber, Brie Larson, Olivia Culpo and Millie Bobby Brown all adore this affordable, minimalist jewelry brand. Gigi has been spotted in the brand’s hooped pearl earrings on more than one occasion. Linjer’s Kirsten pearl huggies are also a part of Millie Bobby Brown’s everyday getup. And Hailey Bieber broadcast her appreciation for the brand when she posted a candid photo wearing Linjer Rebecca hoops on Instagram.
Product range
Since its inception in 2014, Linjer has continuously expanded its product range, starting with a collection of men’s bags and gradually venturing into women’s bags, watches, and jewelry. The introduction of Linjer jewelry in 2019 brought forth a remarkable line crafted from 100% recycled sterling silver and gold metals, ethically sourced gemstones, and conflict-free, lab-grown diamonds. Each piece reflects a commitment to sustainability without compromising on style.
Linjer’s watches and bags also showcase exceptional quality. Featuring unscratchable sapphire glass and top-notch Swiss movements, the brand’s watches showcase unparalleled durability and precision. And crafted with premium Italian leather, Linjer bags embody a harmonious blend of timeless elegance and functional design.
Signature materials and craftsmanship
At the heart of Linjer’s philosophy lies a steadfast commitment to sustainability, fueled by a desire to challenge the throwaway mentality of fast fashion. Founded with a vision to provide enduring and timeless pieces, Linjer’s dedication to responsible practices is reflected in every aspect of the brand.
Product longevity
Linjer prioritizes longevity in its product design by meticulously selecting the highest quality materials. From sterling silver to gold vermeil and 14k solid gold in their jewelry to Italian leather and premium zippers in their bags, every item is crafted to provide years, if not a lifetime, of enjoyment.
Recycled materials
In line with their sustainability goals, Linjer incorporates recycled base materials wherever possible. Their solid gold and sterling silver jewelry pieces are created using 100% recycled gold and silver, reducing the demand for newly mined resources and minimizing environmental impact.
Ethically sourced diamonds
Linjer’s commitment to ethical sourcing is evident in their use of lab-grown diamonds. These diamonds possess the same physical and chemical properties as mined diamonds but are guaranteed to be conflict-free.
Recycled packaging materials
Linjer takes pride in their eco-conscious packaging. Each piece is protected in a recycled film within a small branded box (no excessive packaging here), while gold vermeil pieces come in a branded pink velvet-like envelope. Furthermore, the brand’s boxes are made from recycled gray board, while the paper used in boxes and inserts is sourced from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-certified suppliers.
Carbon offsetting
Recognizing the importance of reducing carbon emissions, Linjer goes the extra mile by fully offsetting the emissions associated with every shipment from their webshop. This initiative is solely funded by Linjer, ensuring a carbon-neutral impact and demonstrating their dedication to a greener future.
Where is Linjer made?
Linjer products are meticulously crafted with care and expertise at factories located around the world. The brand’s leather goods and watches undergo careful assembly processes at facilities in Turkey and China while Linjer jewelry is manufactured in Thailand and China. Regardless of where each piece is manufactured, Linjer is committed to only partnering with ethical factories that guarantee fair wages, excellent working conditions and an unwavering dedication to superlative quality.

Our favorite finds from Linjer
While we adore the simple, minimalist designs of Linjer’s watches and leather products, we haven’t yet had a chance to experience them ourselves. Therefore, we have focused on our best pieces from the brand’s jewelry line, all of which we have tried, tested and absolutely adore. We have worn our Linjer jewelry for months (throughout cooking, gardening and showering) and still they show zero signs of wear and tear. And while you may have noticed that we currently have a certain weakness for gold jewelry, Linjer’s sterling silver and white gold options are just as exquisite.
Linjer Kirsten Pearl Huggies
Worn by Gigi Hadid and Millie Bobby Brown, we couldn’t resist getting our hands on (and ears into) a pair of these ultimate it-girl earrings. And yep, they lived up to the hype. We love how lightweight they are on the ears, even with the dangly effect of the pearls. And while the earrings are perfect for day-to-day wear, the suspended pearl drop just adds that subtle elevation. You can also remove the pearls for a more understated look, so basically you get two pairs for the price of one.
Linjer Miriam Pave Band
If you’re obsessed with the diamond pave band (aren’t we all?), we promise that you will love this Linjer dainty band ring featuring real lab-grown diamonds set into a 14k solid gold eternity band. For those in search of an even more affordable option (for a gift perhaps?) this scintillating diamond pave band is also available in gold vermeil with white topaz gemstones. However, if you’re looking to make a long-term investment, we always recommend solid gold. It maintains its value and produces the longest-lasting gold jewelry.
Linjer Tennis Bracelet
Like diamonds but without the price tag, this Linjer tennis bracelet is set with scintillating cubic zirconias. And while it won’t hold the same value as your diamond heirloom, it has the same immediate effect. Versatile and easy to wear, we hardly take ours off, stacking it against simple chains and more extravagant pieces alike. Plus, its affordability makes this tennis bracelet an easy gift for almost any woman (trust us, it’s always a hit.)
Linjer Birthstone Necklace
Loaded with symbolism and sentimentality, birthstones are a popular gift—especially to celebrate milestone birthdays. A Garnet in January for love and friendship. An Amethyst in February for peace and serenity. And a Swiss Blue Topaz in March for emotional clarity. However, while we appreciate the significance behind each gem, we don’t think that these birthstone necklaces should be confined to those born in a specific month. Don’t tell anyone, but we own more than one.
Linjer price
By adopting a direct-to-consumer model, Linjer offers lower prices without compromising on quality. And by eliminating middlemen and traditional retail markups, they are able to achieve a remarkable quality-to-price ratio, which of course only makes the brand’s luxury accessories that much more desirable. Linjer jewelry ranges from under $20 to just over $800. While Linjer bags and watches are priced around $150.
Where to buy Linjer
Linjer offers affordable prices by operating as a direct-to-consumer brand, therefore you can shop the brand’s full collection of jewelry, bags and watches exclusively on Linjer’s official website.

If, for any reason, you are not completely happy with your purchase, eligible items can be returned within 30 days from the date of delivery. Linjer is a brand based in Hong Kong. While the founders themselves come from China and Norway, the online jewelry and accessories store operates out of Hong Kong. Because of this connection to Norway, many of the brand’s designs are influenced by Scandi-style minimalism and European architecture.
Founded in 2014 by husband and wife Jennifer Chong and Roman Kahn, Linjer combines Roman’s Norwegian heritage with Jennifer’s Asian roots. Reflecting this, the online jewelry and accessories brand promotes minimalism through clean lines and high-quality craftsmanship.
Yes, Linjer jewelry is made with real gold. From 14k solid gold to gold vermeil, all Linjer jewelry is made from real gold and is designed with longevity and luxury in mind. The reason that the brand is able to sell its real gold jewelry for a lot less than other affluent labels is due to its direct-to-consumer business model.
