The Diplomatic Council Mission in Singapore has officially launched on March 22 with an opening ceremony attended by over 150 carefully selected guests. The United Nations accredited think tank is headed in Singapore by Irene Ho, with the cooperation of Chairman Christopher Cheah and Trusted Advisor Dr. Ernest Kan.
The opening ceremony of the Diplomatic Council mission in Singapore was hosted by H.E. Dato’ Zulkifli Adnan, Ambassador of Malaysia to Singapore. Ambassadors from over 20 different countries were present, including H.E. Mohamed Abulkheir from Egypt, H.E. Nimal Weeraratne from Sri Lanka, and H.E. Dr Mohamed Omar Abdulla Balfaqeeh from the United Arab Emirates.
The prestigious group of Ambassadors was joined by existing members of the Diplomatic Council in Singapore (including High-Commissioner of Australia to Singapore, H.E. Bruce Gosper) but also business leaders, investors, and representatives from Government agencies, non-profit organisations, and the media.

The Diplomatic Council is a global think tank and business network with consultative status to the United Nations. The group aims at fostering international collaboration by bringing together diplomats, business leaders, and academics. Members gain access to a global network of leaders from the highest levels.
