Gillette has partnered with the Audi Revolut F1 Team on a limited-edition shaving set, and it is a Hong Kong exclusive. The run is capped at 2,500 pieces, carrying a suggested retail price of HK$399. It arrives in 2026, the year the two brands formally linked up.

The collaboration borrows its look straight from the race car. Metallic silver is paired with a highly saturated racing red, and the manual razor's handle carries a checkered-flag motif representing the finish line. The pattern is translated into a detail a buyer holds every morning.

The set's most collectible part is the F1 tire-shaped stand. It holds the razor on weekdays, then detaches and becomes a portable keychain. That is the wink in an otherwise technical package: one object doing racetrack duty and pocket duty in turn.

Gillette frames the whole thing around what it calls Precision Engineering. The brand maps the logic of drag reduction and precise cornering onto the shave itself, borrowing the engineering mindset of the paddock rather than its livery alone.

The razor head runs on FlexDisc rotation technology, which pivots to follow the contours of the jaw and neck. An exfoliation bar works ahead of the blades, clearing oil and dead skin to cut friction before the pass. Nano-level five-blade technology finishes the shave.

Audi is the familiar half of the pairing for a driver. We have ranked its fastest models before, led by the RS e-tron GT, which reaches 60 mph in 3.1 seconds on launch control and makes up to 637 hp. The partnership stretches that motorsport identity into the bathroom.

The distribution is staged over seven weeks. Mannings e-store gets first rights from October 2 through October 15, 2026. From October 16 the set gradually widens to Watsons, Wellcome, ParknShop and HKTVmall, running to November 18.

The Abu Dhabi draw

Buying during the window enters a customer into a lucky draw. From October 2 to November 18, purchasers at designated e-stores can win a three-day pair of tickets to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Three quotas exist in total, and each prize covers two tickets.

One scratch card accompanies each qualifying purchase. Winners must finish registration and verification by 23:59:59 on November 24, 2026, to claim. Gillette lists the promotion under Trade Promotion Competition Licence No. 61816.

The prize is a viewing experience rather than a fixed seat. Gillette notes that F1 officials, organizers or ticketing suppliers may adjust the race location, date, ticket type and seating, with final word resting on F1 and on the ticketing suppliers.

Hong Kong is the market the brief targets, and it is one this publication has charted closely. Our guide to the city's private members clubs maps an audience that already collects exclusivity; a 2,500-piece drop in that market is aimed at precisely the scarcity-minded buyer.

Audi's place in our own coverage gives the link real footing. When we ranked the most popular luxury car brands online, BYD had overtaken both Porsche and Audi in search interest, while Tesla, BMW and Mercedes-Benz led. The F1 tie-up is a different route to attention.

Why the run matters

The quantity is the story's tension. The scarcity is stated without a promise of follow-up.

We have also covered how AI visibility lifts a brand. Our work on why ChatGPT recommends your competitor found Audi outranks BMW across five AI engines despite lower search traffic, because Audi has nearly twice as many pages an engine can read. A tie-in like this adds to that footprint.

The price positions the set as an entry point rather than a trophy. At HK$399 it sits far below any F1-branded hardware a collector might chase, which is the point: it lets a buyer touch the team's livery for the cost of a grocery run.

Gillette has not stated how the sets are numbered, whether the razor head is replaceable, or whether the stand is sold in any other market. The absence of those details is the one thing the announcement leaves a buyer asking.

What is certain is the calendar. The Abu Dhabi race itself arrives at the end of the season.
