A former fashion assistant and budding entrepreneur who calls the world her home, Emma writes many of Luxe Digital’s women’s style and travel stories, drawing on her passion and experience for slow fashion alongside an appreciation for current trends. When she’s not getting her way with words, you’ll find her exploring a new city (at quite a walking pace)—locating the nearest sushi restaurant or devouring a book on the beach.

To me conscious, elevated living is investing in timeless pieces. But it’s also treating myself to the latest trends without contributing to landfills. It’s supporting carbon-neutral brands and brands that do more to contribute towards sustainability and society. And as someone who loves to shop, it’s regular closet edits—ensuring that unworn garments make their way to impactful charities.

Inspired by her love for the seaside and luxury brands, Emma co-founded Billo—a beach pillow brand—whilst still in university.
Prior to joining Luxe Digital, Emma worked as a fashion assistant to a high-end, private stylist in Cape Town.

Education

Emma received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and English from Stellenbosch University. She also received a postgraduate advanced diploma in Digital Marketing from Red and Yellow Creative School of Business.
