Pandora has partnered with makeup artist Dame Pat McGrath on a 17-piece jewelry capsule that turns her signature beauty motifs into charms, rings and medallions. The collection launches globally on October 8, across Pandora stores and at pandora.net, priced from €39 to €199 in Europe and from $58 to $250 in the United States.

The lineup draws directly on McGrath's visual language: lip-shaped signet rings, glossy lip charms, crystal-embellished lipstick and beauty-tube dangles, and ombre enamel hearts hidden inside some of the pieces. Medallions are etched with empowerment mantras associated with the artist, who is known in the industry simply as 'Mother.'

What the two designers said about it

McGrath said makeup and jewelry have 'always been the same art' to her. 'I adorn the body with color, light, crystal, glitter and pure pigment,' she said. 'Jewelry is that same instinct made eternal. With Pandora, the two arts I have always loved became a single language.'

Pandora creative directors Francesco Terzo and A. Filippo Ficarelli described the project as the meeting of 'two creative voices coming together around one powerful idea: color as a force for transformation.' The pair said they had 'pushed materials to create surfaces rich in depth and emotion' across the 17 pieces.

McGrath, speaking separately about the collaboration, said she did not want to simply miniaturize beauty products and call them jewelry. 'The excitement was in taking these familiar symbols and transforming them through Pandora's craftsmanship so that they became objects with their own character and meaning,' she said.

She added that the wearer decides what each piece means. 'Nothing should feel too precious to play with,' McGrath said, describing the collection as designed for layering across chains, hoops and bracelets, and for mixing tonal combinations and metals rather than treating any one piece as untouchable.

The palette leans on red, purple, silver and gold, with crystal detailing running through several of the pieces. The campaign was shot by London-based Norwegian photographer Solve Sundsbo, and features Ava Shipp, Chiharu Okunugi, Ali Dansky and Alton Mason as its faces.

Who Pat McGrath is beyond the makeup chair

McGrath built her reputation on the runway, credited with looks including studded lips, gilded eyebrows and the porcelain-doll makeup seen at the 2024 Margiela show. She launched her eponymous makeup brand, Pat McGrath Labs, in 2015 and serves as its chief creative officer.

She also holds another prominent post in luxury: since 2025, McGrath has been Louis Vuitton's creative director of cosmetics, the role the French house created when it introduced the category that year. The Pandora capsule joins that title rather than replacing it, adding a second industry outside cosmetics to her name.

For Pandora, the tie-up extends a pattern of brand collaborations that trade on a named creative figure rather than an in-house design alone, a strategy we track as part of our coverage of business and the marketing tactics luxury names use to reach new buyers.

We have covered comparable capsule launches recently, including Louis Vuitton's Keith Haring collection of 13 Artycapucines bags and Bonpoint's Monet-themed collaboration with MoMA, both built on the same logic of a single artist's language translated into a limited product range with a fixed release window.

Those launches, like this one, depend on scarcity and a named collaborator to justify pricing above a brand's usual entry point. Pandora's own core charm bracelets typically sell well below the $250 ceiling this capsule reaches, making McGrath's name part of what the collection is priced to carry.

The Danish jewelry group, one of the largest in the world by volume, has built its business on affordable, personalizable charm jewelry sold through its own stores and third-party retailers globally. A capsule pegged to a beauty icon rather than a Pandora house design marks a departure from that formula.

McGrath framed the partnership as a natural fit rather than a stretch. 'We share this belief that creativity and self-expression should be something everyone can participate in,' she said, adding that luxury, to her, 'has never simply been about exclusivity' but about artistry and emotion.

No pricing beyond the stated ranges, and no unit or production figures, have been disclosed for the 17-piece run. The collection arrives October 8 through Pandora's own stores and pandora.net, the only distribution channels named for the launch so far.
