H. Moser & Cie. has unveiled a limited-edition Pioneer tourbillon made with Saquon Barkley, the Philadelphia Eagles running back. The skeletonised watch, reference 3811-1205, is limited to 97 pieces, each priced at $99,600.

The edition builds on the Pioneer Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton, reference 3811-1200, that the Swiss maison first showed at Watches and Wonders in 2022, and the cylindrical tourbillon is the through-line from that model. Barkley, an avowed fan of open-worked watches, put his own stamp on the design.

"I've always been drawn to skeleton watches," Barkley said in a statement. "I love being able to see the complexity of the movement, while the watch itself can still feel incredibly pure and understated."

The 42.8 mm steel case carries a domed subdial at twelve o'clock and a cylindrical tourbillon at six, matching the 2022 original. The principal change is the subdial itself, which now shows shimmering aventurine quartzite in place of the signature Funky Blue fumé.

The subdial indices are filled with Super-LumiNova, but the two and the six glow in a different color as a nod to Barkley's jersey number, 26. The aventurine looks like a field of stars, fitting for a player who is a star on the field.

"What I particularly like about this piece is how the aventurine dial stands out against the skeletonized movement," Barkley added. "It catches your eye, and yet never feels ostentatious. That balance is exactly what I was looking for."

Sapphire crystal on both the front and back exposes the three-dimensional automatic movement. Inside is the in-house Caliber HMC 811, whose cylindrical hairspring improves isochronism, meaning it keeps a constant, undisturbed oscillation regardless of external forces and so increases accuracy.

What the Barkley edition changes

The full name is long: Pioneer Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Aventurine Saquon Barkley Edition. Water resistance is rated to 120 meters, so the watch is meant to be equally at home on a football field or a red carpet.

The run of 97 pieces is a nod to Barkley's birth year. He signed with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2024 and has since accumulated 2,738 scrimmage yards, which has made him one of the most explosive running backs in the NFL.

Saquon Barkley

H. Moser & Cie. is a Swiss maison known for restrained complications, where tourbillons and openworked calibers are beside a deliberately quiet dial language. The Pioneer is its luxury sports watch, and Barkley's version keeps that discretion.

The Barkley edition holds the same balance between complexity and calm, while the aventurine dial supplies the only real change in character.

Price, scarcity and what is undisclosed

At $99,600 the watch is a six-figure-adjacent proposition for a steel sports piece, though one with an in-house tourbillon and a cylindrical hairspring. The 97-piece run keeps it scarce, and Moser pitches it as a tribute rather than a mass collaboration.

Barkley's mark is the aventurine and the glowing 26, not a logo or a signature on the dial.

What was not disclosed is how the 97 pieces are split or how many are already spoken for. No waitlist figure was given, and no source says whether the edition will return in any metal beyond steel.
