Zenvo
The Danish hypercar maker building a handful of cars at a time in Præstø, known for its cornering Centripetal Wing.
Zenvo is a Danish maker of hand-built hypercars produced in very small numbers. It designs and builds its cars almost entirely in-house in Præstø, on the island of Zealand. Jesper Jensen and Troels Vollertsen founded the company in 2007, first as Nordic Sports Car, before it took its current name in 2009. Individual models run to single or low double digits rather than an annual volume, which places Zenvo at the far end of the hypercar field, among the most expensive cars we cover.
Behind the brand
Denmark has only a small car industry, so a hypercar program there has to be self-contained, and Zenvo owns the process from design to final assembly. That is unusual in a segment where even small makers lean on outside suppliers and shared platforms. Keeping the work under one roof is part of why production stays so limited, and it is the thread running from the ST1 to the Aurora.
The cars
The ST1
The ST1 was Zenvo’s founding model, built in exactly 15 examples. It was hand-made in tiny numbers even by hypercar standards, and it set the template every Zenvo has followed since.
The TSR-S
The TSR-S is the road-legal car most closely tied to Zenvo’s signature technology, the Centripetal Wing. It is the model where the wing’s movement is easiest to see, and the clearest expression of the brand’s engineering.
The TSR-GT
Zenvo built the TSR-GT in just three units, which makes it the rarest member of the TSR family and a near-bespoke commission at the extreme end of the exclusivity tier.
The Aurora
The Aurora arrived in 2023 as Zenvo’s first hybrid and its first V12, offered as the track-focused Agil and the grand-touring Tur, with deliveries scheduled to begin in 2026. It adds a new powertrain direction while keeping the hand-built, small-numbers character.
The Centripetal Wing
Most rear wings are fixed and work best at one set of speeds and loads. Zenvo’s Centripetal Wing moves instead. It tilts side to side under cornering load and forward under braking. Tilting into a corner shifts aerodynamic pressure toward the side of the car that needs grip, and tilting forward under braking adds stability. It is a working piece of aero engineering rather than a styling flourish, and on the TSR-S the movement is visible from outside the car, which is why it became the brand’s signature.
Where Zenvo sits
Zenvo builds a very small number of very expensive cars for buyers who want something close to bespoke. Production is capped per model rather than run to an annual quota, and no two examples of the same car need turn out alike. Prices sit in the multi-million-dollar tier with no fixed figure, which puts Zenvo among the most expensive cars you can commission and on lists of the fastest cars in the world. There are faster names and more established ones, but few are built in numbers this small.
