When not behind the wheel, Neil Cumins is writing about cars. A lifelong automotive enthusiast and a British motoring writer with over 20 years of experience, his workspace is filled with half a century’s worth of car magazines, manufacturer brochures, and memorabilia.

Other passions that drive him include a fascination with architecture and a love of travel – especially to locations with motoring heritage.

I’ve been a student of mindfulness for many years, which means I appreciate the little things in life. I’m always conscious of the quality of double-stitched leather on a steering wheel or the rifle-bolt action of a seamless manual gearchange. It’s easy to overlook the engineering details that make even mundane activities or objects feel rewarding and indulgent.
