Rebel-AR Automatic Watches

The Rebel-AR collection is where LIV branches out a bit from its classic designs. Yet there are still touches of other LIV models in these innovative, modern watches.

Inspired by racing, these watches are distinguished by a rectangular form that is slightly curved. Not only is this stylish, but it also fits more comfortably for an active day. The sandwich dial is also slightly curved.

Watch movement is driven by 26 Jewels, with a remarkable power reserve of 40 hours. Like many LIV watches, Rebel-AR watches are precise within 5 seconds every day. A dial of many layers is striking with luminescent letters. The design is clean with classic touches, designed to be used from dawn to dusk.

Gravel 001 Automatic Watches

The Gravel 001 is the first LIV built on neither steel nor titanium. Its case is Dense Carbon, the brand’s own blend of carbon fiber and polyamide. LIV chose it for weight, not looks. Shock-resistant housing protects the movement behind it.

Inside sits a 26-jewel Swiss automatic, accurate to within 5 seconds a day and good for a 42-hour reserve. A skeleton caseback leaves the rotor on show.

A screw-down crown and anti-reflective sapphire take the Gravel to 100 meters. The form-fit silicone strap releases without tools, so swapping straps takes seconds.

This is the rugged end of the LIV range, not the dressy one. The GX Diver goes three times deeper. The Gravel is built to take more of a beating.

Gravel 002 Chronograph Watches

The Gravel 002 keeps the Dense Carbon case and swaps the automatic for a Swiss two-eye chronograph. A 30-minute counter and a date window at six o’clock fill out the dial.

Two subdials read cleaner than a full sweep. Lume runs across the markers for low light. Sapphire crystal, anti-reflective coating and 100 meters of water resistance all carry over from the 001.

The price does not. At $650, the chronograph undercuts every automatic in the Gravel line, and most of LIV’s catalog with it.

Colors run from a restrained Panda to Venom Yellow. The packaging converts into a bike frame bag. Cyclists will use it. Everyone else gets a nice box.
