Nammos Resort AMAALA has opened on Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast, the first resort hotel the Mykonos hospitality brand has operated anywhere in the world. The resort is on Triple Bay, with views across the Red Sea and Dumega Bay. It is the sixth resort to open at AMAALA, the coastal destination Red Sea Global is building as part of its regenerative tourism program.

Developed by the architectural firm Foster + Partners, the property has 110 keys and 20 private residences. Nammos built its name on a beach club on Psarou Beach in Mykonos, known for Mediterranean cuisine and a high-energy social scene. The AMAALA property is the brand's first full resort, designed around Endless Joy.

John Pagano, group CEO of Red Sea Global, said Nammos brings the energy and spirit of Mykonos to the Saudi Red Sea coast. He said the opening reinforces AMAALA's ambition to become one of the world's leading luxury lifestyle and wellness destinations, adding to a roster that is expanding with each new opening.

Carolyn Turnbull, CEO of Nammos Hotels & Resorts, called the opening the start of an entirely new chapter for the brand. She said the company took what people know from Nammos, its sense of occasion, hospitality, dining and energy, and reimagined it as a full resort experience.

Turnbull said AMAALA was the only place Nammos could have made that leap, and described welcoming the resort's first guests as a moment of pride for the company. Red Sea Global announced the opening on September 7, 2026.

Private island beach club and spa

The resort's signature Nammos Beach Club occupies its own private island, reached by boardwalk or private jetty. It offers panoramic sea views and the Mediterranean-inspired cuisine the original Mykonos club is known for. A Cliff Villa sits above the Red Sea as a secluded option with a private pool and sunset-facing terraces.

Nammos Spa debuts alongside the resort, built around a concept called Boundless Wellbeing. Its signature experiences include late-night sound healing, soundscape beats, spa parties, radical manifestation sessions and advanced skin health treatments. The spa joins a fitness center, Pilates, yoga and dance studios as part of the resort's amenities.

Signature dining spans several outlets, including Ilios Restaurant, Ilios Lounge, Nalu Restaurant and the Nammos Restaurant, the resort's main dining destination where Mediterranean simplicity meets global flair. Guests also get access to AMAALA's wider program, including marine adventures, sailing excursions, wellness trails and equestrian experiences.

A dedicated Blu Kids Club offers a space for discovery, creativity and nature-inspired learning for younger guests. AMAALA describes itself as the world's first integrated activity and well-being destination, offering residents immersive and restorative experiences.

Twenty residences overlooking the marina

Alongside the hotel, Nammos Residences AMAALA offers 20 private residences overlooking a waterfront marina. The collection includes one, two and three-bedroom apartments plus a three-bedroom penthouse, each with spacious interiors, expansive terraces and sea and marina views.

Nammos Hotels & Resorts manages the residences, giving owners access to the resort's dining, the Nammos Beach Club, wellness facilities and personalized services. Red Sea Global describes the collection as a rare opportunity to own a home on the Red Sea's waterfront.
