LARQ
The self-cleaning water bottle brand that turns UV-C purification into an everyday design object for cleaner, fresher hydration on the move.
LARQ made the reusable water bottle feel less like a worthy compromise and more like a proper upgrade. The brand’s signature move is simple: build UV-C purification into a sleek bottle cap, so the bottle can help neutralize bacteria and odor without the daily scrub-and-rinse ritual most reusable bottles quietly demand.
We tested the technology in our LARQ Bottle review and later explored the same cleaning logic in the LARQ Pitcher PureVis. The appeal is easy to understand. LARQ sits at the intersection of design, wellness, and sustainability: fewer single-use plastic bottles, cleaner daily hydration, and a form factor polished enough to live on a desk, in a gym bag, or beside a hotel sink.
Behind the Brand
What LARQ is known for
LARQ is best known for its self-cleaning bottles, which use UV-C LED light to help sanitize the water and the inside of the bottle. The original Bottle PureVis pairs that purification system with insulated stainless steel, while the lighter Bottle Movement is built for daily carry and workouts.
The brand has since expanded beyond bottles into home filtration with the Pitcher PureVis, bringing the same interest in cleaner water and low-maintenance design to the kitchen counter.
Why it matters
Reusable bottles are only as sustainable as they are pleasant to keep using. LARQ’s point of difference is that it attacks one of the main reasons people abandon them: lingering odor and hidden build-up. By making cleanliness part of the product experience, the brand gives the everyday bottle a more premium, more practical reason to stay in rotation.
