The finalists of the SBID International Design Awards 2018 have now been revealed.
Entries were received from over 42 countries including Australia, Canada, Taiwan, Ukraine, Dubai, China, Russia, Egypt and more.
Organised by The Society of British and International Design (SBID)—the professional accrediting organisation for the interior design industry in the UK—the SBID International Design Awards recognise and celebrate interior design excellence across a broad range of categories: from Retail to Residential, Clubs & Bars and Restaurants, Office Spaces, Hotel Design and more.
Finalists include world-renowned practices such as Zaha Hadid Architects, Dexter Moren Associates, NBBJ and Ron Arad Architects. Notable projects include Claridge’s Suite at Claridge’s Hotel, Walmart HQ in Mexico, The Room of the Emirates at the United Nations in Switzerland and Nobu Downtown in New York.

Finalists were selected by a Technical Panel of judges made up of senior executives from Christian Louboutin Beauté, BBC, National History Museum, Belmond, Walpole, Bentley, Google, AECOM and more.
The public are now invited to vote for their favourite projects which will account for 30% of the final results. All shortlisted projects can be viewed here. Public voting will close on Friday 24 August at 5.00pm GMT.
Winners will be announced at the ceremony taking place at The Dorchester hotel in London on Friday 26 October 2018 and will be awarded with a bespoke crystal trophy designed by Sans Souchi Glass Deco.
All winners and finalists will be featured in the Global Interior Design 2018 book which is distributed to over 1000 professionals across the globe.
